1. Who we are
ZA Global (“we”, “us”) provides business advisory and market-enablement services across Southeast Asia — including market entry, business establishment, recruitment, supplier sourcing, enterprise risk, and executive advisory. For any privacy question, contact us at tony.yeong@za-global.net or +60 12-387 4288. Our principal place of business is Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and we serve clients across Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.
2. The personal data we collect
- Enquiry & consultation details you provide through our contact and consultation forms — such as name, job title, company, email, country, and the information you choose to share about your objectives and the market or engagement you have in mind.
- Communications you send us by email, phone, or messaging.
- Technical & usage data collected automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, via cookies and analytics.
3. How and why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange and prepare for consultations.
- To provide and administer our advisory and market-enablement engagements.
- To send information you have requested, such as regional insights, where you have opted in.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We rely on your consent, the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interests as the lawful bases for processing, depending on the purpose.
4. Cookies & analytics
We may use cookies and analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used. Where required by law, we will request your consent for non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings and any cookie banner provided.
5. Third parties & processors
We use trusted service providers to operate the firm — for example a scheduling platform (such as Calendly), an email or CRM platform, and web hosting and analytics providers. Where an engagement requires specialist implementation support, we may share relevant information with appropriately qualified and licensed partners, under appropriate agreements and only as necessary. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
As we serve clients across Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and the wider region, your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction — including under the Personal Data Protection Act (Malaysia), the Personal Data Protection Act (Singapore), and the GDPR where applicable — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact tony.yeong@za-global.net.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown above.
